Directed by elusive artist himself, Banksy, and my long-time mentor Jaimie D’Cruz [Exit Through the Gift Shop], the Antics Roadshow was a celebration of low-level misdemeanor and (mostly) well-intentioned criminality. This one hour special for Channel 4 explored art, culture & politics through the lens of pranksters, hoaxers, artists and activists. Using public space for their own illicit ends these are the people who act without permission to make the world a more interesting and beautiful place. Or just fall down stairs in an amusing way.
